What we have been up too!

So here is alittle bit of what we have been doing and what we will be doing for the holidays I can't wait I know my boys are still to little to realize anything but thats okay cuz I am excited to start our own little traditions with our family.
Okay so Yes I am a slacker and didn't put up a tree again this year I figured I had one more year that I didn't have to put one up cuz after this year its decorations from here on out so I took this year off hehehe so we went over to Mindy's house cuz she is not a slacker mom and we took some pics of the boys in front of her Christmas tree so they got to see their first Christmas tree:

So we took the boys to see Santa Clause out at our friend Heidi and Brody's house a couple of weeks ago it was alot of fun and it was alot nicer then going to the mall to fight the crowds and wait in those long lines to see santa so here are a few pics of the boys sitting on santa's lap:

Then that night we had our Annual Christmas Sweater Soiree party out at Cheryl and Taylors house it was alot of fun it was just the adults so it was nice to have a little get away from all the kids and get together with a great bunch of friends we had a nice dinner and then we did our white elephant gifts and then we played some Taboo so here are a few pics of the gang:



So then the next weekend we went to mindy's family Christmas party and the boys got to see santa again so we took a few more pics of the boys and sam sitting on santa's lap and this is what we got this time:Ayden was not thrilled about seeing Santa again Oh he finally warmed up and decided santa wasn't so bad! Sammy once again very happy to see Santa or not LOL!
Well now we are just trying to finish up our last minute shopping because yep I am a slacker and we always put it off til the last minute so pat is taking the day off on wednesday so we can get the rest of it done then we are going to go to dinner with my grandma Carol on wed night then we are going to go to Temple Square on Christmas Eve to see the lights with the fam, this will be April's first time to Temple Square to see the lights ever in her whole life that is so crazy to me that she has never been there. Then we will head back to grandma's house to have some hot chocolate and open the boys first Christmas gift yep it will just be PJ's that you know every kid gets to open on Christmas Eve but I am excited it will be fun then we will head home put the boys to bed and get ready for Christmas morning we didn't go all out this year for the boys because they are too young to get it and we have plenty of years for that hehehe but we will get up and open what few gifts we did get them and then head to grandma's house for breakfast and then we are all going to go sledding up at EagleWood for a few hours and that is what we are going to try and do every year from here on out if the weather allows us to so we are excited it will be alot of fun I know the boys are alittle young this year for that but thats okay cuz you gotta start somewhere right!
Anyways that is what we have been up too and I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Caleb just has a big head!

Okay so we took Caleb in yesterday to PMCH for his ultrasound on his big head/brain and everything is okay he does have a little bit of fluid in their but its normal and as he gets older it will just go away, now if inside the brain would have been hollow and had the fluids then he would have had some type of thing that starts with an H have no idea what it was called anyways if that would have been the case then he would have had to have it drained but he does not have that his brain is doing well and functioning the way its supposed to so the little bit of fluid that he has is nothing to be concerned about unless his head continues to grow rapidly then we will have to have something done but as of now he is totally okay.

K so a couple of weeks ago we had the boys get their 9 month old pics taken and we decided to do a few family pics with the boys along with it so here is a sneak peek of some of the pics we had taken:

9 Months Old!

So the boys turned 9 months old on Sunday they are just getting so big its just crazy to me how time flies anyways here is alittle of what we have been up too! So we took the boys to their 9 month appt on thursday and they are both doing well,

Caleb: is now weighing 17lbs 15 Ounces and is 27 3/4 inches long he is in the 12th percentile for weight and the 25th or 50th I can't even remember for height and then their is his poor head yep he went from the 45th percentile to the 96th percentile so they are alittle concerned with the growth of his head so we have to get a ultrasound done on his little head and brain to make sure their aren't any extra fluids or swelling floating around, the dr said I am sure he is okay it is just a percausion that we have to take so we aren't too worried because if you all know Pat big heads run in his fam so my boys were just lucky and got their dads big head hehe!
We go on the 1st of Dec so I will let you all know how it goes! The dr. also told us that Caleb will probably be popping out a couple of teeth in the next few weeks he said he is getting pretty close so thats going to be fun hopefully we will not have any sleepless nights over it LOL!

Ayden: is now weighing 16lbs 14 ounces and is 28 1/4 inches long he is in the 5th percentile for weight and the 50th for height I think I was still concerned about calebs head that I forget what percent for height so I will just go with 50th for Ayden and his head is definitley big also but not as concerning because he was in the 60th percentile for his head last time and now he is in the 90th so they are not as concerned with his little big head so we do not have to get an ultrasound on his head yet, unless something comes back abnormal with Caleb's then they will have us get Ayden's checked. Ayden still has aways to go before he will be popping out any teeth says the dr.

Other then that everything is going well with them they are still not crawling and really not even close but they are finally rolling all over the place now and both sitting up on their own so the dr was happy with that and he said not to worry about them not crawling yet every baby is different so thats good.

So yes I still have them both sleeping in the same crib and I know I probably should get them in their own cribs but first off we don't have alot of room for another crib and I think they will be so sad if I seperate them because they are just so cute together they play so well together in the crib when they wake up in the mornings I will just let them stay in the crib for about a half an hour after they wake up cuz its so cute to watch them on my video monitor and I like to lay in bed for another half an hour hehehehe.

Halloween!

Okay so how times have changed every halloween usually us adults are dressing up and going out to celebrate halloween well this year was alittle bit different but it was a good different. So friday evening we took the boys to get their pics taken in their halloween costumes along with their cousins Jaxon and Sammy it was alot of fun: Here is one of the pics that the photographer posted:
we had some group shots of all the kids together also but I have to wait until I get the pics back to post them so here is one for now.
K then saturday we all met up at my mom's and took some pics of our own with all the grandkids in their halloween costumes they turned out so cute but I can't posts those yet either because of course I didn't have my camera and so I have to wait for my slacker friends and cousins to upload the pics to send to me get on that would ya you slackers...you know who I am talking about hehehe! After that we enjoyed some yummy food and just hung out for a bit and then we took the boys in to sizzler to see their sister Mav at work and after that we headed home and got the boys to bed they were wore out it was a long day for them. Anyways we had lots of fun doing kid stuff this year! I can't wait until next year when we take them all out trick or treating that will be fun!

8 months old today!

So my boys are 8 months old today wow they are getting so big but I love watching them change every day they are so cute, they are both saying dada no mama yet, they are both kind of rolling Caleb will roll one way only so he ends up all the way over to the door and gets stuck and can't go back the other way its cute! Ayden on the other hand will roll over to his belly and just stays their he will not roll back over so he is happy for awhile that way and then gets really mad because he can't roll back to his back so we have to help him, its really not a good time when he does it in the middle of the night and he will sleep that way for a bit but then when he wants to roll back over he can't so he screams until mom wakes up and comes to save him he is my little turd hehehe but I love him. I am sure they will not be crawling until they are 2 but thats okay, I believe Sam will be crawling, sitting up and walking before mine will be and she is 3 months younger, they are just taking their sweet old time but I am so okay with that the less mobile the better for me right now LOL!
I have some video's of them that I will post when I figure it out one day on how to do it.
Anyways they are both doing well and getting so big, Caleb has passed Ayden up big time, Ayden was quite sick for about a week or so and he lost a bit of weight so he is my skinny boy and Caleb is my chubbins so cute. They are both still really good eaters they love their vegetables so that is nice I just hope that will continue as they get older, they also love their fruit k that is all I have for now so here are a few pics of them:

7 months old today!

Wow how time flys it makes me so sad that the boys are 7 months old already I just want them to stay little forever, because the years to come worry me. Well things are good the boys love their solids so far they have loved every vegetable we have given them well except sweet potatoes it took them a couple of days on that one but other then that they are really good eaters so that is nice I just hope it continues cuz we do not want them to end up like their mom LOL! We are going to finally start then on some fruits starting next week so hopefully they will still like their veggies after that. K here is a couple of pics of my 7 month olders so sad!:(

What has gotten into me....

I know I know I am blogging again wow....okay so I decided to blog about somethings we have been doing now instead of in 2 or 3 months from now lol!
So the boys are 6 months old now and we started them on their first solids last thursday so I thought I would post some pics of their first time eating peas....ummmm yummy(gross). Okay so here are a few pics of them, they loved them:


We will be starting them on Carrots next, probably tomorrow so I will let you know how it goes with those. I am hoping that they like all their vegetables and eat like their dad and not their mom otherwise we are in trouble LOL!

K so then on friday night we decided to go bowling, pat and I and mindy and Josh and of course all the babies wow was that an experience. We got there around 7:00 and decided to bowl 3 games(we should have only bowled 2) so we first fed the boys there peas and rice cereal when we got there and that was okay, then we started bowling and ate our dinner while we were bowling and all the babies were being good just hanging out in there car seats then about 45 minutes into bowling they all started fussing so of course we have to get them out and hold them so remind you pat and I have 2 kids so we have to pass then back and forth between the 2 of us that was fun so I held both then he did and that got old quick, so then it was time for a bottle and we are still not done bowling only into our 2nd game by this point so we start feeding them and mind you its really loud there and the lights are out with laser lights and loud music so by this point all the babies have had enough so it usually takes about 15 to 20 minutes to feed them a bottle ya this time it took an hour oh wow okay so needless to say we probably wont be doing that again hehehe.
So saturday night we had tickets to toby keith so we dropped all the babies off to grandma & grandpa's house and went to the concert with mindy and josh and that was alot of fun and then mindy and I talked the boys into going dancing after the concert since mindy and I never get out anymore they were nice to take us and put up with us having to dance all night it was alot of fun and I can't wait to do it again probably next year hehehe.

Then we got up sunday and headed to jamison's b-day party, it was the boys first birthday party, jamison turned 4 years old and it was alot of fun we went to the rec center and had pizza and cake and took the boys swimming they had fun for a bit until this little kid jumped into the pool right in front of Ayden and he got splashed all over his face that was it for him he through a fit so we were done swimming, anyways here are a few pics of all the kids swimming:
