Baby update!

Okay so sorry I have been such a slacker, but I have not been in the mood to do anything, so this is what has been going on. Pat and I went back last thursday a week ago for our second ultrasound and it went really well, we are for sure only having 2 yay! They are both doing very well, I said before that Twin B's heartbeat was very faint the first time we went, well its amazing what a week can do because this time both TwinA & TwinB were alot bigger and we got to finally hear both of there heart beats it was so amazing, TwinA was beating 149bmp and twinB was beating 145bpm so needless to say they are both doing well, and all those other follicules that they thought could be more baby sacs are just big follicules and hopefully will eventually go down.
Okay here are some pics of the babies: 1st pic is TwinA and TwinA's heartbeat. Second pic is TwinB and TwinB's heartbeat. 3rd pic is both of them.

Okay so on another note mom is not doing so hot, I am so sick and throw up everyday 2 or 8 times a day just depends on the day and it sucks but I will survive. Also the dr. said to me well you have 2 in there so you get double the fun, double the sickness and double the weight isn't that just lovely I thought so. He did say with me throwing up that, that is a good thing because it means the babies are doing well so I guess that is good but it is not fun for me.
Okay so those of you who know me and my eating habits know that my diet consists of chicken and chicken and more chicken, well when all this envitro started and I had to stop exercising I went on a strick chicken diet, not that I didn't eat alot of chicken before but I was eating nothing but chicken, 1 piece of grilled chicken for lunch, and 1 piece of grilled chicken for dinner grilled chicken for a snack, well it worked for awhile and I dropped 6lbs in those 3 weeks of just eating chicken. K well my last day of eating chicken was on July 5th and now I can't even look at chicken otherwise I will throw up and it sucks because now I have nothing to eat because there is nothing that I like believe me it has been rough. So now all I want is a cheeseburger or Taco Times bean & cheese burritos yep thats all I can keep down everything else comes back up. I try to eat bananas and apples and even the fruit baby food but no such luck it wont stay down. Also I am so not a pop drinker I used to just drink water and that was it, well now all I want is a sprite or a coke and that is so not good cuz coke is so not good for you but I want it so bad it is so weird.
Next wed, we go and see my actual OBGYN my dr. for our 10 wk visit so I am going to see what she can give me so I can stop throwing up and maybe actually want to eat because right now I hate food and nothing sounds good.
Anways sorry for all the complaining but I am so entitled to it, I have decided and poor pat he has to put up with alot right now, but he is so good to me I couldn't ask for a better guy I just love him.
Anyways thats all for now, I will update again soon.

WOW, Poor thing. But it all sounds very good for the babies! Ya I remember your eating habits, I bet all that changes now. But this won't last forever. Again Mickele, thanks for being such a trooper and sweet friend and making it to Vegas while you are going through all this! Truly shocking that you can't eat chicken. :)

I'm glad everything is okay with the babies. Sorry you are sick though. Morning sickness is awful, but remember, it will get better. Just hang in there until it does. (Mine got better around week 14.)

Ohhh Mick that sucks! I sure hope you get feeling better soon! On the other hand taco time and coke sounds yummy! hehehe! So what names are you thinking about?? Can you tell or is it top secret??

Hope the doc can help you get feeling better! Good luck!
Pat really is a great guy! You're a lucky girl!

I'm so glad you updated your blog. I've been waiting to hear how the twins are doing. I understand a girl's heart beat is a little faster than a boy's, so maybe you'll get one of each! But it doesn't matter, they will be wonderful and beautiful, boys or girls.

I have to agree that Pat is a great guy. I'm glad he is being patient. . . I remember very well that the morning (all day) sickness can be rough.

Take care. We're thinking about you all the time.

Love,

Leo and Carla

Poor girl! It's terrible to feel that sick, but I sure it is all worth it just to know those adorable twins are on their way.

Mickele, I so feel your pain. The reason why my voice is lower....Parlee. I threw up every single day (multiple times) for 9 months! I couldn't eat anything!
If you are craving something, eat it, otherwise you will stare and so will those little babies! YIPEE!!!

Yay, thanks for posting pictures! I still can't believe you're pregnant. I'm really sorry that you're suffering from the morning sickness, I'm sure they'll give you something for it when you go to your appt. I guess I was lucky, I never actually got sick with either of mine, just really nauseaus some days. Wait till the heartburn kicks in...... although if what they say is true, mine may have been worse from all the hair my kids have!

And I'd love to hear the names too unless your keeping them a secret. :)

Oh, so sorry! Puking is the pits. I had it every day with my first, then, I took some pills and only lost it twice with my second and was free and clear with my third. It was a B6 and half a unisom. Hope you feel better soon. It will be worth it in the end...

It makes it so real when you get to actually see them... I am so excited for you!! I am sure you are so sick of hearing this, but every second of being sick and everything else is so worth it. It will not matter the second you hold them. Good luck with it all!!

I was just reading your other posts and remebered I too took the B6 and half a unisom for sickness. It really did work! Maybe it's something you should check into. Good luck!!

Mills Family said...

Hey everyone thanks for all your posts, I will have to try the b6 and unisom and see if that works.
Yes we have names picked out already we have actually had our names picked out for about 2 or more years now. If they are boys they will be Kaleb Patrick Mills and Aden Ugene Mills and a girl will be Madeline Jane and called MJ thats what we have so far.

I have to giggle a little bit. I couldn't walk through the meat department when I was carrying April. I'll bet she was 18 mo old before I could eat chicken again. And ya know what? All I could keep down were bean burritos. It's probably because they're rather bland and totally protein. It could be worse. Also, coke syrup used to be sold just for nausea. Maybe that's why you're craving coke. So... are you going to torture us with a name guessing game too?

Anyways... I'm thrilled for you and the meds your doc recommends will be great for you... but they might make you a little sleepy so don't drive if you don't have to.

Love ya,
K

Congrats on the twins! And I love the names. I'm so excited for you...hopefully your doctor can find something that will ease your nausea! Take it easy and "live it up"...being pregnant isn't all fun, BUT it CAN work to your advantage!!! ha ha.....
