Hello, alright so I know I have been a big slacker on updating my blog so anyways here is a little update on how things are going. Okay so I have had 2 Ultrasounds so far and everything is looking good, the babies are growing like there supposed to be they are actually a little bit ahead of schedule which is good for twins, my last ultrasound was on November 26th and I was measuring at 24 wks and 4 days and the babies were measuring at 25 wks and 4 days so they are definitley growing. Baby A weighs 1 lb 12 oz and Baby B is 1 lb 10 oz so they are doing well. As for mom I am doing good also I had a little rough couple of weeks the last few weeks because I got sick with a really bad cold so when I went to my appt back on the 25th my blood pressure was up quite high 140/95 so my dr. put me on a semi bedrest for the week and then I had to go back and see her a week later and I was starting to finally get over my cold so when I went back on thursday my blood pressure had come down to 138/80 so she took me off the bedrest and told me I could go back to my normal activities so that was good news. The bad news was that my glucose test came back high so needless to say yep I had to go and do the 3 hour glucose test where they draw my blood every hour for 3 hours and I have to drink that horrible stuff and I can't eat that whole time, so we got there at 9:30 in the morning and I was not done until 2:00 by that time I was weak and so starving I was ready to eat a Cow. I will not have the results back from that test until tuesday so I will keep you posted on that but if all of you will keep your fingers crossed that I do not have the Gestational Diabates that would be great, because if I do have it I am in trouble. You see for those of you who know me and what my diet consists of I am going to be a loss cause if they have to put me on some nutritional diet I have no idea what I am going to eat because Vegetables and Fruit are so not a part of my diet just bread(that is very high in carbs)and that is white bread not wheat...Yuck and chicken oh yeah I can finally eat chicken again yippee.
Anyways that is what has been going on with me and the boys, so, so far everything is looking good. K here are a few pics of the boys at there last Ultrasound and believe me they are definitley boys hehehe!
Baby A(if you look close you can see he is sucking his thumb so cute!)
This pic shows I am A Boy!

Halloween!
Okay so since my kids aren't here just yet to play dress up with on halloween, we decided to be kids ourselves and dress up and go out, it was fun we love Halloween. Pat was the killer clown and I was Goth Ann(raggedy Ann)but dark.
So we headed over to mindy and josh's after my cute little nephew came over to see us in his tigger costume he was so cute, april I need pics!
Once we got over to mindy's house she did all of our makeup and everyone showed up and then we headed out to the Halloween Block party that my cousin casey was putting on for the radio station at Lumpy's and a few other places in the block, it was fun, but let me tell you I haven't been up that late in a long time so needless to say I was pretty tired when we got home at like 2:00 in the morning. Anyways here are a few pics of our costumes:

They cooperated!
Okay so I know it has been awhile since I have blogged, but I just have not been in the mood, so anyways just wanted to let you all know that I am finally feeling alot better. Most of you know the issues and hell that I have been through and it was a big pain in my ass and I mean literally hehehe well it is finally better and as long as I take my nauses pill B6 and Unisom the best thing ever then I am not hugging the toilet which has been nice, I have had a few ups and down days but other then that I am feeling great. I have even been able to exercise again and that has been nice. Okay so I am not quite back to normal just yet, I still can't bring myself to eat a plain piece of grilled chicken, but I have been adding some chicken in here or there either in a fajiatta or mixed in something else just not a plain piece yet.
Okay so we finally went to the dr. again today and had our 20 week ultrasound, and it was about time since I haven't had one since 7 weeks and yep we found out the gender of them, but first I just want you to know they are both very healthy and right on schedule and that is all that matters.
Okay so yes we are having 2 Boys and Pat is so freaking excited its cute! Don't get me wrong I am excited too, but I was really hoping for a boy and girl but oh well I am just grateful that they are doing okay and that I am pregnant so I guess it doesn't really matter what they are and pat needed a boy or 2 in his world because having 3 girls and a very needy wife can be very rough on a guy. I have pics but I will post them later.
Alright that is all you are getting from me for now.

Baby update!
Okay so sorry I have been such a slacker, but I have not been in the mood to do anything, so this is what has been going on. Pat and I went back last thursday a week ago for our second ultrasound and it went really well, we are for sure only having 2 yay! They are both doing very well, I said before that Twin B's heartbeat was very faint the first time we went, well its amazing what a week can do because this time both TwinA & TwinB were alot bigger and we got to finally hear both of there heart beats it was so amazing, TwinA was beating 149bmp and twinB was beating 145bpm so needless to say they are both doing well, and all those other follicules that they thought could be more baby sacs are just big follicules and hopefully will eventually go down.
Okay here are some pics of the babies: 1st pic is TwinA and TwinA's heartbeat. Second pic is TwinB and TwinB's heartbeat. 3rd pic is both of them.
Okay so on another note mom is not doing so hot, I am so sick and throw up everyday 2 or 8 times a day just depends on the day and it sucks but I will survive. Also the dr. said to me well you have 2 in there so you get double the fun, double the sickness and double the weight isn't that just lovely I thought so. He did say with me throwing up that, that is a good thing because it means the babies are doing well so I guess that is good but it is not fun for me.
Okay so those of you who know me and my eating habits know that my diet consists of chicken and chicken and more chicken, well when all this envitro started and I had to stop exercising I went on a strick chicken diet, not that I didn't eat alot of chicken before but I was eating nothing but chicken, 1 piece of grilled chicken for lunch, and 1 piece of grilled chicken for dinner grilled chicken for a snack, well it worked for awhile and I dropped 6lbs in those 3 weeks of just eating chicken. K well my last day of eating chicken was on July 5th and now I can't even look at chicken otherwise I will throw up and it sucks because now I have nothing to eat because there is nothing that I like believe me it has been rough. So now all I want is a cheeseburger or Taco Times bean & cheese burritos yep thats all I can keep down everything else comes back up. I try to eat bananas and apples and even the fruit baby food but no such luck it wont stay down. Also I am so not a pop drinker I used to just drink water and that was it, well now all I want is a sprite or a coke and that is so not good cuz coke is so not good for you but I want it so bad it is so weird.
Next wed, we go and see my actual OBGYN my dr. for our 10 wk visit so I am going to see what she can give me so I can stop throwing up and maybe actually want to eat because right now I hate food and nothing sounds good.
Anways sorry for all the complaining but I am so entitled to it, I have decided and poor pat he has to put up with alot right now, but he is so good to me I couldn't ask for a better guy I just love him.
Anyways thats all for now, I will update again soon.

How we told my parents!
Okay so pat got home from work and had this great idea on how to tell my parents how many we were having, so we went to fred meyer and got these 4 little booties 2 pink ones and 2 blue ones and 4 little bags to put them in 2 blue and 2 pink bags:
Then we had a card for them that had 3 little kittens on the front, so first when my parents saw the bags and booties they were shocked they thought we were having 4 my dad just kept holding up 4 fingers and mouthing the word 4 with this very shocked look on his face and my mom kept saying no Doug this has to mean 2, 2 for you and 2 for me but just 2 total and then she thought okay are you really having 4 so then they opened up the card and saw the 3 little kittys and my mom was like oh my gosh Doug they are having 3 yeah they are having 3 and then they opened up the card and read this:
No matter how much you mix or match them, No matter how hard they looked, No matter how hard we looked we could only see 2. So from having no grandkids a few years ago you are now going to have a house full.
Love Pat and Mick.
So needless to say we really had them going, pat came up with the best idea ever and then Ann and Kathy and Donna and Ann's kids and my grandpa came over and the first words out of everyones mouth was OMG you are having 4 it was hilarious.
Anyways sorry we forgot to take a pic of the card but there you have it, that is how we told my parents and everyone else who showed up at there house.
So then my mom had to have her friend Kathy come up and paint her front window, which we didn't take a pic of either we really suck at this, anyways and it said.
CONGRATS: 1+1+?=
Don't ask me why they put that, but they want to confuse ppl and when we really know for sure next thursday they will change it.
K thats all for now, sorry but I had to share my funny story.

Time to play a Guessing Game
Hehehehe, hey everyone pat and I just got back from the Dr. and we know something that you don't so now its time to play the guessing game, guess how many we could be having, I will check back later to let you all know who is right and who is not. Hehehehe thanks for playing.
Okay I guess I will tell you now, thanks for those of you who played along with me, anyways most of you guessed it right we are having twins for now, let me explain what I mean about that, so when we were at the ultrasound today they were able to find Twin A(that is what they are calling them) really easy and twin A had a really strong heart beat, well then they came across Twin B and it was really hard for them to find him or her, so they made me get up and walk across the hall to the bathroom and drain my bladder again and then they tried again and this time they were able to find Twin B easier and we finally saw a heart beat but it was very faint, well along with all of that I have alot of follicules that are still very enlarged from all the fertility meds that I was on so they said that we were about 5 days early and that they want to see me back next thursday morning so they can see things alittle bit clearer and that it is still a possiblity that in all of those follicules that are so big right now could be another sac with a baby, but thats not likely, but they can't weigh that out yet, because its so early and they are wanting twin B to have a stronger heart beat so as of now yes we are having twins and I am so excited, and I really believe that is all we will be having I really do not think there is a 3rd one in there but you never know, so I will let you all know next thursday.

Bend Oregon
So we just got back from Bend Oregon on wed night we had a good time, we had to go there for Pat's work he has this Surplus Lines convention every year so we get to go to different places every year its kind of fun. Anyways we had to fly of course and for those of you that know me I get very sick on a plane motion sickness big time, well I called the Dr. to make sure it was okay for me to fly and to see if it would be okay if I still either took my 3 dramamine(however you spell) or if I could wear my patch well of course they said I could not do either so I just had to suck it up and be sick, well let me just say I will not be flying again until I can either take something or until after the babies hehehe are born cuz I am so not going through that sick feeling again it was the worst thing ever and then I am sick for the rest of the day yeah so not fun. Anyways we got there on sunday afternoon and we stayed at a place called Sunriver Resort it was a really nice place we stayed in a little condo type place it was nice, well I of course couldn't do much so that was kind of a bummer, cuz you could rent bikes and go on all these cool bike trails and they had a river raft right there at the resort that you could just rent the tubes and run the river and then they picked you up at the bottom and they had a fun ATV ride(not that I would have gone on that anyway)but there was lots to do and I couldn't do any of it, so I just layed out by the pool everyday and read my book while pat and mav went on a bike ride. Anyways it was a nice relaxing little trip, until the plane ride again back home that was awful.
Oh yeah and our rental car was a convertibile and Mav thought that was the coolest thing ever so she had to have the top down every where she went.
Right before we were getting ready to check out we saw some deer sitting right outside our back door they were so cute it was a mom and her little babies.
K well here are a few pics that we took, we were kind of bad and didn't really take any pics so here is what we have:

YAY...... I'AM FINALLY PREGNANT!
Okay so pat and found out on tuesday that we are going to have a baby, I am so excited I can't believe it I have waited so long for this that I can't believe it has finally happened to me.
so we went up to the dr. on tuesday morning and I had my blood drawn and they said we will call you around noon to let you know the news so I was like wow thats going to be the longest 3 hours of my life waiting to hear the news, so pat and I left and went to breakfast and after that I was taking him back to work and as we pulled into the parking lot my phone rang and I said oh my gosh its them already this has to be good news with them calling this quick, I had my blood done at 9:00 and they called us at 10:00 so only an hour and so I answered and the nurse said I just wanted to give you the good news you are PREGNANT, and I just started bawling I was so excited I couldn't believe it. Then she proceded to tell me something about my levels and I was so overwhelmed that I wasn't paying much attention so all I heard was that they wanted my levels to at least be at 100 and she said and yours are at 1000 they are very strong and looking really good, and just so you know there is a high chance of you having more then one, and I said right now I am okay with having however many cuz I am just so glad to be pregnant, I have been waiting to hear those words now for 2 years and 8 months and it has finally happend.
So pat and I just sat in the car and bawled for a bit and did the happy dance and then I called my mom and told her and she cried too. Then my mom got off the phone with me and couldn't help herself she had to call and tell everyone cause she was so excited and I didn't care cause I wanted to scream it from the roof tops so it was okay that she told everyone.
Then I talk to april and she told me what they were talking about with the level thing and then she did some research and found this study that they did and this is what she read.
If the level was between 300 and 600, the ongoing pregnancy rate was 40% (10/25). If the hCG level was greater than 600, the multiple pregnancy rate was 100% (7/7). CONCLUSIONS: These data support the hypothesis that hCG levels greater than 200 mIU/ml on 14 days post-ET are more likely to have ongoing pregnancies; hCG levels greater than 600 have a high likelihood of a multiple gestation pregnancy
Okay so what that is saying is I could definitley be having more then 1, with my levels being at 1000. I just said to pat uh oh.
Actually I hope I am at least having twins I think it would be alot of fun okay and alot of work but I don't even care. We will find out in a few weeks how many we are having so I will keep you all posted.
Well then I had to come home and of course pee on a stick just so I could see that positive sign, because you don't even know how many negatives I have had, so I just had to see it once and I saw it and it was so great I started crying all over again.
Anyways I just wanted to say thanks to all of you that kept me in your thoughts and prayers and for putting up with all my blogging about what I went through and you know what in the end it has all been worth it. I still have to continue the progestrone shots everyday until the 15th of August and let me tell you they are so not fun, but I am okay with that.

Good News!(sorry for the Novel)
Okay so here is an update, I went in on thursday for my ultrasound and more blood work and they said everything was looking really good and that they would probably remove them on sat., but they still had to wait for my bloodwork to come back and that they would call me. Well they called me on thursday afternoon around 1:00 and told me that my estrogen levels were at 3000 and that I am good to go for saturday morning at 8:00 am and that I had to take my HCG shot at 8:45 pm on thursday night so that is what we did, i was so excited that I was ready because if I really had to go one more day I really don't know if I would have made it, I was so blotted and miserable it took me 10 minutes just to get myself up out of a chair it was rough. Anyways so pat gave me the shot at 8:45 in the hip/butt area and the actual shot wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be considering how big and thick the needle is, well i was fine until the next morning when I tried rolling over on to my side that the shot was given and screamed because it was very sore and bruised, so needless to say the shot wasn't to bad but the next day is. K so then they told me that i was going to be shot free for a day and I was so excited so I didn't have to get anymore stomach shots, actually I am done with all the stomach shots for the rest of the time yippee, but I did have to start a little green pill on friday night and now I have to take that twice a day for the rest of the time until the transfer.
So saturday morning we got up and headed up to the Andrology place where the retrieval of the follicules(eggs) was taking place, so we get up there and into one of the rooms and the nurse comes in and takes my vitals and all that fun stuff and then she said okay change into the little white hospital gown and another nurse will be in to put in your IV, I freaked I hate IV's anyways she came in and tried my right hand and it popped out, then she tried my left hand and it popped out so then she tried putting it in my left arm where it bends and it worked so needless to say I have a few bruises from the IV, I was in tears it hurt so bad.

IVF Update...
Okay so Its been awhile since I have posted about my progress so here goes. Alright so 2 weeks ago this Monday I had to get 2 more shots along with my Lupron shot that I have been doing the whole time and they all go in my stomach, we just bumped the Lupron down to 5c instead of 10c but I still had to get it, so I was doing a total of 3 shots for 3 days and then it went down to 2 shots for the rest of the time.
Lupron Shot: Follistim Pen shot:We also had to do a shot called Repronex (this shot was only for 3 days) and thank the lord for that because it was a very painful shot, pat had to mix this one with water and then into the powder, so this is the needle he had to use to mix it with and then after it was mixed he put the little needle back on to give me the shot and it was a thicker substance so it took longer to give...so not fun, Anyways here is a pic of the before needle while mixing and then the after needle: So those are the shots that I have been getting for the last 2 weeks. Okay so monday we had another ultrasound to see how these shots were doing, and things were good but not exactly where they want me to be so we had to go back tuesday morning at 7:45am (way to early for me) to have another ultrasound well things were looking better so they had me do my bloodtest of my Estrogen to see if I was ready for the big HCG Shot on tuesday night and then we would have went in for the retrieval on thursday morning, well my estrogen levels were not where they wanted them so we had to go back this morning(wed) for another ultrasound and more blood tests to see how things were, still not there so yep that means we have to go back again tomorrow(thurs.) for another ultrasound and more blood work. Well my Dr. did say that he is sure I will be ready tomorrow so, tomorrow morning should be my last set of stomach shots and then tomorrow night I will get my HCG shot right in the hip area OUCH, and then we will go in on saturday morning for the retrieval and then about 3 to 5 days later we will be going back in for the transfer of putting them back in. In the meantime I will be recieving new shots called Progestrone and those are also in the hip area in the muscle OUCH again.

MOAB
Well I know its been awhile, but here is what we have been up too! So we went to Moab 2 weekends ago for Pats family reunion, it was alot of fun I have never been to moab and never really cared to go because I am not really a climb the rocks in my jeep type of person or really much of a hiker, but I had a blast who knew hiking up to the arches would be so much fun I loved it and I am already planning another trip back. Anyways here are a few of the things that we did: We got there on thursday afternoon and then we went to dinner that night and after that over to the grocery store to get our groceries for the 3 days, we stayed in a 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo that was so nice and plenty of room for all of us. So we got up friday morning and headed up to Dead Horse Point that was really neat here are a few pics:
After that we went back to the condo did a little barbaqueing and hung with the fam for a bit and then went to bed and got up the next morning and went to breakfast and then headed home.
