Potty Training...I have created a monster!

Okay so I decided since I have 2 that I have to potty train that I would get a head start, so I went and bought them a couple of potties and just started having them sit on them with their diapers on so they wouldn't be afraid of it then I decided to have them sit on it without their diapers on and we did that for a few days and then Caleb all the sudden went pee in the potty and he thought it was hilarious so after that I couldn't keep him away from the potty so now everytime he wakes up or has his diaper changed he grabs his little peter and says I pee, I pee, I pee until I take him to the potty and no he does not go everytime but we probably sit on the potty at least 8 times a day and he will sit their forever if I let him and just read his book and he only goes once sometimes twice of those 8 times so I guess its at least a start but yes I have created a monster and if I don't let him go to the potty because we are in a hurry to go somewhere or we are out somewhere he throws a major fit and its a struggle to get that diaper on he is too funny and so cute!
Now Ayden is another story he actually could care less if he sits on the potty or not but when he does sit on the potty he does go and he has actually peed and pooped in the potty already and when he did he just sat their and laughed while he was doing his thing it was hilarious!
Anyways I know they are still really young and aren't quite their yet to be fully potty trained but I figure if I just keep doing what I am doing by they time they are 2 they will be fully ready and hopefully potty trained just in time for us to try for another one hehehe!

Canada

Pat had a business trip to Whistler/Vancouver Canada a couple of weeks ago so we decided to go in a day early and stay a day later so we could kind of see some things while we were there. We dropped the boys off at my mom's on tuesday and flew into Vancouver where we had a limousine tour guide pick us up and drive us all around downtown Vancouver so here are some pics of what we saw, I was so mad at myself because I left my camera at home so I had to rely on my cell phone for pics but it actually took some okay pics:
Then after that we headed up to Whistler which was about and hour and 45 minutes from Vancouver:
Anyways we got settled in and went to dinner and then pat and I went and saw a movie because we never get to do that at home so we went and saw Eclipse it was a great show.
Pat didn't have anything until Later Wed night so we got up and decided to do the Gondala ride it was called Peak 2 PeakWe went from Whislter Mountain over to the Black Mountain and we saw a few bears along the way. On our way back down we rode in the open ski lift and we had a few bears right under us on our way back they were everywhere it was crazyIt was gorgeous up there and abit chilly as you can see there was still lots of snow, they even had a ski area still open for the skiiers it was crazy seeing ppl skiing in the middle of July.
That night we went to Pat's opening Ceremonies and then the rest of the week was just kind of relaxing while pat had meetings.
Then saturday morning we got up and caught the Train from Whislter to Vancouver it was about a 5 hour train ride it was amazingThey had amazing waterfalls along the way.
Then they served us lunch and Tea, Pat was in heaven he had his tea and 2 meals LOL for those of you who know me I so would not eat what they served here is what we hadWe had alot of fun and can't wait to go back.

They are definitley Twins!

I think Caleb was just trying to show Ayden up, so we went up to my family reunion this past weekend and my parents brought their trailer and we were all haning out inside and the boys kept going over by the screen door they have such a fetish with doors it drives me crazy, but it was latched and we were sitting right there so they couldn't fall out well then we were getting ready for dinner and a bunch of us were coming in and out carrying things and the door happen to not latch one of the times and caleb went over by the door and as soon as I said caleb get away from the door and went to go grab him out he went, it was awful their was nothing we could do he flew out that door so fast and down all the stairs I seriously thought he was going to break his neck with the way he tumbled it scared the crap out of me, its a good thing kids are so resiliant at this age because if that would have been one of us adults we probably would have broke something.
Anyways he is doing okay he cried for about an hour but we finally got him calmed down so we could get him cleaned up he scraped up his nose pretty bad it didn't want to stop bleeding and he banged up his forehead pretty bad but after awhile he acted just fine like it never happend its crazy to me how little ones forget so fast that they got hurt.
Why is it that once we know they are okay we tend to take pics of there scrapes and bruises I guess so we can show them later on in life the worries they put us through.

Accidents Happen!

My poor cautious Ayden he fell hard, so I left the room for 1 minute and then I all the sudden heard this big crash and horrible scream so I ran into the room and found him toppled over in his chairhe had pushed his little chair across the room to the stroller and climbed up on it and down he came anyways I called the dr and told them what happend and she said to just keep an eye on him and so far he is fine its amazing how kids just bounce right back and forget all about it, believe me if I had this big goose egg on my head I would be crying about it for days!

Wasatch Back Ragnar Relay 2010

K so a bunch of us ran in the Ragnar Relay this past weekend and it was alot of fun and very tiring, I had to run 3 legs and I was runner #3 so I had 18.4 miles overall not all at once so that was good I ran a total of 10.5 the first day and 7.9 the second day but oh wow if anyone says that ragnar race is easy they are smoking something because it was alittle rough and I don't mean rough body wise I mean mentally rough, you are out running for 2 days straight non stop with no sleep I think I had 3 hours of sleep total in 2 days and when you have no sleep that so messes with your mind.
K so this is how it all started I got to bed thursday night around 1:30 am and had to be up at 4:00 am so I got all my stuff and headed to shane's to pick him and kelli up then we met martin & mindy in Odgen to drop off my vehicle and that was around 5:45ish then after dropping off the vehicle we headed up to Logan and that is where Shane started us off with our first leg, we had to get checked in and then he started at 8:15 then it eventually came my turn for my first leg and that was fine it all went well I ended up running 5.6 miles in an average of 9:31 minute miles so I was happy with that, then the day went on and it came time for my second leg around 8:40pm and that one was okay also I ran 5.1 miles in an average of 10:00 minute miles still okay with that, then I was done running til the next morning around 8:30 well we still had 3 runners in our van so we finished around 12:45ish am, then we had to drive to this school that was kind of out of the way so by the time we got there it was 2:00am then we had to try and find a place to sleep in the gym with 1,000 of other ppl so we all got ready for bed washed up and all and I think I finally feel asleep around 3:15ish and was up at 5:00am to drive back to the next exchange to start all over again so needless to say by that point I was so tired that I couldn't even function so I was ready to give up, i told my team if my jeep was there I would have went home and they would have had to run my last leg cuz I was done, I tried to get my cousin to run my last leg but my team wouldn't let me give it away they talked me into running it and so I did and I don't know where my boost of energy came from but I made it through my last leg and it was 7.9 miles of hell lots of hills I had to run up the back side of Jordanelle just take a drive up that way and you will see what I ran up but I ran it in 10:31 minute mile pace so i felt good about that and so glad I didn't give up I was just having a moment of a mental break down and once I got passed that and got my second or 5th wind I was fine. Like I say I think this race is alot more mental challenging then it is challenging on your body. Next year I will be alot more prepared for what I am getting myself into and I will do things a little bit different.
We also got to run through some gorgeous scenery!
Well I got home around 7:30 saturday night still with no sleep, so I got showered and got some food and was in bed and asleep by 9:45ish and slept til 9 that next morning oh I was so tired.
Anyways sorry for the novel that was more for my benefit so I will remember this experience and when it comes time to run it again next year maybe I will go back and read this and remember the no sleep and say hell no hehehe.
Here are some pics of our adventure:

So I ran the riverton half in 2hrs 5 minutes and 24 seconds and I ran the SL one in 2 hrs 14seconds so I beat my time by 5 minutes so I was so happy about that so hopefully for the one I am running in July I will beat my time again.
