Only 5 more days....Yay!

Okay just a quick little update, so a couple of weeks ago we went to the dr. and she told me that I was actually doing pretty well for having twins and that my tests keep coming back okay, they keep going up but only little by little so she decided that we could push me to 37 wks and have the babies on the 20th of Feb. I was so not happy with that news because I was so ready to be done then at 34 wks, but I knew the babies needed to cook alittle bit longer so I knew I was going to have to be miserable for at least a few more weeks, but I still wasn't happy about it and pat really wanted to have them on his Birthday the 15th of feb, so I told pat the week of his birthday that I was going to walk up and down our stairs many times or get on the treadmill and we were going to have sex since we were told we couldn't since the first of Dec. hehehe I figured that would put me into labor for sure. Well anyways we went to our next appt with the dr. last thursday and she told me that my tests are getting higher now and my bloodpressure is staying up higher then she would like so she put me on Bloodpressure medication and she said she is going to up us a week on the delivery so we asked if we could have them on the 15th of Feb...pat's b-day and she said that would be a perfect day, I will be 36 wks and 1 day, so there you have it only 5 more days from today and we will be having babies and I so cannot wait I am counting down the days every morning that I wake up I say oh yes 1 more day down.
We are scheduled for Sunday morning at 9:00 am, so by this time sunday we will have our 2 little boys Caleb Patrick and Ayden Eugene. I can't wait.

I am such a Slacker!

Okay so everyone keeps yelling at me about updating my blog, I know I am such a slacker these days but I sit down to update and I don't even know where to begin, so here goes.
Okay first off No I have not had the babies yet we are all still hanging in there, but here is what has been going on for the last month or so. Okay it all started around 28 weeks which was the saturday before Christmas, k that weekend I ended up having some blood in my Urine(I know gross)anyways I kind of had it throughout the weekend so on monday I was pretty worried so I called the dr. and they told me that they wanted to see me right away so I got up there about noon that day the 22nd of Dec and I had to do all of these blood tests and urine tests and what not anyways my tests came back pretty okay there was just a little trace of blood but nothing to alarming so then they checked my blood pressure and it was 152/102 and it just kept staying really high so they decided that I needed to have an NST done(non stress tests) on the babies, well during those tests I was having 1 to 2 minute apart contractions so they were scared I was going into labor, so they sent me up to the Hospital, I arrived there at 3:00 and was not let out of there until 8:00 that night.
K they hooked me up to all of these monitors and IV's cuz they thought I was dehydrated, and for those of you who know me that is impossible with as much water as I drink but whatever they pumped me full of 2 bags of fluid and ran all these horrible tests on me and could not come up with anything, no infections no open cervics everything was coming back fine except the little trace of blood in my urine but nothing major, so they just decided that my contractions were from my high bloodpressure and I was going to be okay so they let me go home and they put me on BEDREST....good times!
K well that night I had to start this 24hr urine test and blood work, so not fun well since then I have done 4 and I am on my 5th one starting today yep it sucks but they just have to be cautious and watch me close cuz I could have these babies at anytime now.
So needless to say the last month has been alittle bit crazy, I see my dr. almost 3 times a week right now and do 24hr urine tests and blood work each week, I guess I have something in my urine called Creatinine and if it gets any worse I could have a stroke, or kidney failure or other complications so that is why they have to watch me so close, so my dr. has told me to just have my bags packed and in the car and ready to go to the hospital at anytime, well she told us last wed that we were going to the hospital on friday so to come with my bags, but when we got there she told us that my test results actually came back better then she thought they were going to so she let me stay home for another week, so I start my next 24hr urine tests today and go back tomorrow for blood work and then go back again on friday to get the results and to see if we are going to the hospital or if we can hopefully hang in there for 1 more week. So anyways that is what has been going on in our world for the last month.
Well I have NST's every week now on the babies and they are doing so great, its just mom that is struggling. Well they are both weighing in right now at 4lbs 5oz and 4lbs 2oz give or take a little from the ultrasound they are not exactly accurate but close. So needless to say I am carrying around an almost 9lb baby in here and miserable as hell just so you all know, but thats okay as long as they are doing well and keep doing well I will stick it out as long as I can.

Finally an Update!

Hello, alright so I know I have been a big slacker on updating my blog so anyways here is a little update on how things are going. Okay so I have had 2 Ultrasounds so far and everything is looking good, the babies are growing like there supposed to be they are actually a little bit ahead of schedule which is good for twins, my last ultrasound was on November 26th and I was measuring at 24 wks and 4 days and the babies were measuring at 25 wks and 4 days so they are definitley growing. Baby A weighs 1 lb 12 oz and Baby B is 1 lb 10 oz so they are doing well. As for mom I am doing good also I had a little rough couple of weeks the last few weeks because I got sick with a really bad cold so when I went to my appt back on the 25th my blood pressure was up quite high 140/95 so my dr. put me on a semi bedrest for the week and then I had to go back and see her a week later and I was starting to finally get over my cold so when I went back on thursday my blood pressure had come down to 138/80 so she took me off the bedrest and told me I could go back to my normal activities so that was good news. The bad news was that my glucose test came back high so needless to say yep I had to go and do the 3 hour glucose test where they draw my blood every hour for 3 hours and I have to drink that horrible stuff and I can't eat that whole time, so we got there at 9:30 in the morning and I was not done until 2:00 by that time I was weak and so starving I was ready to eat a Cow. I will not have the results back from that test until tuesday so I will keep you posted on that but if all of you will keep your fingers crossed that I do not have the Gestational Diabates that would be great, because if I do have it I am in trouble. You see for those of you who know me and what my diet consists of I am going to be a loss cause if they have to put me on some nutritional diet I have no idea what I am going to eat because Vegetables and Fruit are so not a part of my diet just bread(that is very high in carbs)and that is white bread not wheat...Yuck and chicken oh yeah I can finally eat chicken again yippee.
Anyways that is what has been going on with me and the boys, so, so far everything is looking good. K here are a few pics of the boys at there last Ultrasound and believe me they are definitley boys hehehe!

Halloween!

Okay so since my kids aren't here just yet to play dress up with on halloween, we decided to be kids ourselves and dress up and go out, it was fun we love Halloween. Pat was the killer clown and I was Goth Ann(raggedy Ann)but dark.
So we headed over to mindy and josh's after my cute little nephew came over to see us in his tigger costume he was so cute, april I need pics!
Once we got over to mindy's house she did all of our makeup and everyone showed up and then we headed out to the Halloween Block party that my cousin casey was putting on for the radio station at Lumpy's and a few other places in the block, it was fun, but let me tell you I haven't been up that late in a long time so needless to say I was pretty tired when we got home at like 2:00 in the morning. Anyways here are a few pics of our costumes:

Okay so I know it has been awhile since I have blogged, but I just have not been in the mood, so anyways just wanted to let you all know that I am finally feeling alot better. Most of you know the issues and hell that I have been through and it was a big pain in my ass and I mean literally hehehe well it is finally better and as long as I take my nauses pill B6 and Unisom the best thing ever then I am not hugging the toilet which has been nice, I have had a few ups and down days but other then that I am feeling great. I have even been able to exercise again and that has been nice. Okay so I am not quite back to normal just yet, I still can't bring myself to eat a plain piece of grilled chicken, but I have been adding some chicken in here or there either in a fajiatta or mixed in something else just not a plain piece yet.
Okay so we finally went to the dr. again today and had our 20 week ultrasound, and it was about time since I haven't had one since 7 weeks and yep we found out the gender of them, but first I just want you to know they are both very healthy and right on schedule and that is all that matters.
Okay so yes we are having 2 Boys and Pat is so freaking excited its cute! Don't get me wrong I am excited too, but I was really hoping for a boy and girl but oh well I am just grateful that they are doing okay and that I am pregnant so I guess it doesn't really matter what they are and pat needed a boy or 2 in his world because having 3 girls and a very needy wife can be very rough on a guy. I have pics but I will post them later.
