Memorial Weekend!

Alright so we headed out to Vegas for memorial weekend, it was one of Pats really good friends from Minnesota's 40th b-day and so they were all meeting in vegas to celebrate, we toyed with the idea on even going because of all of the fun stuff we are starting so we can have a baby, anyways we ended up pushing our Envitro back a few weeks because my dr. was not going to be available and I did not want to go with another dr. So that is why we decided to go to vegas and mindy and josh came with us, we had alot of fun, we didn't win any money so that was a bummer but oh well you can't win them all right!

K so some of the things we did in vegas this time

was pretty fun, saturday we got up and headed over to the mirage and went through the Dolphin Exhibit and the Secret Gardens with the lions and tigers it was pretty neat, and then that night we went to a show at the mirage called Love its the beattles Cirques Ole show, it was a really cool show I suggest seeing it. Then we got up sunday and headed to St. George, we stayed in mindy's parents condo it was nice. Then we went golfing that afternoon at the ledges were one of our good friends work so we got a great deal on golf but then they had the sprinklers on the greens from hole number 5 on so we didn't get to finish I guess thats what happens when you get a good deal, but that was okay cuz it was freezing anyway. The whole weekend was cold, vegas was cold and rainging the whole time so that was not fun. Here are a few pics of the trip:

Okay so while we were down there I had to start my first set of shots of Lupron, so pat and I went to our Lupron class last week and I walked out of there so terrified I started bawling before we even made it to the car and pat was like why are you crying you haven't even had a shot yet, and I said because I am so scared, did you not see those needles oh wow, well needless to say my first one was on sunday morning and I just closed my eyes and told pat to get it over with so then he said k are you ready and I said don't say that just do it, anyways he did it and it really wasn't that bad...I survived, so these first couple weeks of shots I think I will be okay, its when the big one starts I am going to lose my mind. Anyways enough on that, I will keep you updated as we go along.

AJ's Kindergarten Graduation!

So here is just a little update on what we have been up too! Well AJ's kindergarten graduation was last week, pat and mav headed down to nephi to go to his graduation, they said it was really cute. I had them take lots of pics for me since I had to miss it. Anyways here are a few pics, he is so cute and growing up so fast!

Race 4 the Cure!

So I had a pretty good weekend, friday night pat and I and Mindy and Josh went golfing and yeah I so sucked it up I definitley need to practice a bit before mindy and I start our womens golf league next tuesday!
Then Saturday morning Pat and I got up bright and early and ran in the 5K race for the cure our team name was the Breast Savers it was pretty cool I could not believe how many people were there they said that there were about 16,000 people that registerd. Anyways I ran my best time, jackie and I ran together and we helped push each other along we ended up running the 5K which is 3.1 miles between 28:06 and 28:25 the times were alittle off because we had to start quite a bit behind the starting line because of all the ppl, we had alot of fun.
Pat and mindy and randee ran the race also and they did really good for it being there first 5K ever, they ran it in about 35:00 minutes good job guys.
Then later that night a bunch of us went to dinner and then out dancing for mine and Em's b-day it was fun, man I am getting old I just turned 32 Wow thats old hehehe.

Mav's Prom

Okay so we had a pretty good weekend, Friday night shane and april came out and all of us went out to dinner, out to Su Casa, we took April there a couple of weeks ago and now she is hooked they have the best Fajaittas ever, she told shane they are going to have to come out to eat once a week, like they used to do when Casa Melinda was around hehehe.

Then saturday we got up and went shopping for some last minute stuff for Mav's prom, yep she got asked to prom and it was on saturday night, so monica and melica came over and we all helped her get ready and she looked amazing, monica did her hair it was so cute!

Then she put on her dress and she lookes so freaking cute, so we had to take some more pics!

So then we all waited around(including mindy and josh) for her date to come and pick her up so we could meet him and give him the 3rd degree hehehe, so then we took a few pics and saw them off.

Then we headed over to cheryl and taylors for dinner and then we played a few games and then came home. Then on sunday pat and josh left town to go down to the ranch to do a little turkey hunting(boys) so mindy and I decided to go and run the track and do mile bleachers yeah sometimes we are so not that bright hehehe but we felt good after we were all done. Alright that was my weekend for ya, k I will post again soon!

Okay so today is my second monday to have jaxon and we are just having so much fun, so before I had talked to april, i had only changed Jaxon's poopy diaper once so i thought yay we are doing good today, compared to last monday. Well then I talked to april and just got done feeding him and he decided he was going to show me for saying anything and yep he decided to poop all over the place and all through his clothes, luckly mom brought an extra pair of clothes to change into so we had to change his whole outfit, I guess that is what I get for opening up my mouth, I spoke to soon hehehe. Well after we got him all cleaned up and his bum was changed he was so happy so we decided to take some pictures, he loves the camera. Anyways here are just a few of the ones I took.

First day with Jaxon

Okay so yesterday was my first day to have jaxon and it was wonderful, he is so freaking cute and he was so good for me, well except when I had to change his poopy diapers try like 6 times yep that kid is a pooper! Well I took a couple of pics of him but I can't seem to download them from my phone so as soon as april emails them to me i will post them, but for now you can see them on aprils blog. Well I can't wait until next monday to watch him again. He is so precious.

Nascar Weekend

Okay so I thought I would write alittle bit about my weekend. So a bunch of us went to Dallas, TX for Nascar.....I know very white trash, but it is alot of fun. So it seems like every year that we go to Nascar wether it be in Vegas or somewhere else someone always gets hurt and ends up going to the clinic or emergency room, well this year it was Cheryl and Seth that ended up there, we all went out one of the nights and we all decided that we were going to be cool and ride the Mechanical Bull, and out of the 6 that rode it 5 of us ended up getting broken thumbs or broken nails and bruises all over.





Well Cheryl and Seth ended up messing up there thumbs really bad so they made a trip to the clinic and this was the results:

But at least we had alot of fun!

So the next day we shopped alot and I bought alot of new shoes then we took it easy that night, then the next morning we got up early and headed out to the race, we were stuck in traffic for about 2 hours. We finally made it there and watched the race, it was pretty boring this year because they didn't have enough wrecks hehehe.

After the race we all did some tailgating, we cooked up some hamburgers and hotdogs to let the traffic dye off and then we headed back to the hotel and took it easy again because we were all wiped out from being out in the hot sun all day.

Then the next day we got up early and headed to the airport to come home. We all had a good time with a good bunch of friends.
